Kevin Wolf, president of Germania Corp., can honestly say he has worked his way up from the bottom.
His first job with the Riverside-based development company in 1995 was to sweep and pick up trash at the company's job sites.
Wolf, 34, took the job at the suggestion of his father, Robert A. Wolf, the company's president.
The younger Wolf wasn't crazy about the idea. He had just graduated from California State University, San Bernardino with a degree in business administration. But for a year, Kevin went to work every day and made sure the Germania construction sites were neat and tidy.
Thirteen years later, in charge of Germania's day-to-day operations, Kevin Wolf said he's glad he took the job.
"At the time, I didn't understand it," said Wolf, who took over as president of the company in January when his father stepped down at age 59. "I was just out of college and I was like a teenager, I thought I knew everything
