Now in his second year with the club after signing a 5-year, $65 million contract, Baron Davis is beginning to give the Clippers a return on their investment, making a buzzer beater to upset the Celtics in late December, then toying with the Lakers with a 25-point, 10-assist performance in an upset victory. He's staying within Mike Dunleavy's offense and wisely picking and choosing his freelance moments, providing the Clippers with a smart, savvy, explosive point guard. Eric Gordon has quietly developed into one of the best young players in the game while averaging 17.4 points per game, and it's a shame he doesn't get more recognition on a national basis. For the moment, Rasual Butler is in the starting lineup as Dunleavy opts for a three-guard set, and he's averaging 11.7 points per game.
