RHS snaps skid, beats Carter 53-37

REDLANDS - The Redlands High School girls' basketball team got back on track Friday night with a solid 53-37 victory over the visiting Carter Lions.

Coming off of three straight losses, RHS (13-11, 6-6 Citrus Belt League) looked as though they had worked out the kinks as they easily rolled past the Lions.

"This win was extremely important," said RHS junior Rikki Frohmader. "We needed something to push us to keep going so we didn't lose our confidence."

Missing from the starting lineup Friday was senior captain Brittney Neeley, who started on the bench to rest an ankle injury.

The Terriers started off slow, going down 5-0 after the first three minutes. But RHS responded well, fighting back to cut Carter's lead to one as Frohmader saw her first points on the night.
