REDLANDS - The Redlands High School wrestling team might want to rethink who they schedule for their final home match next year.
After a ceremony at the beginning of the night to honor their seniors, the Terriers spent the remainder of the evening on their backs as crosstown rival Redlands East Valley High School mauled them in a 62-3 victory Thursday night.
"We were just outclassed," said RHS first-year coach Ryan Berkeley. "They deserved to win tonight."
Coming off a surprising loss to A.B. Miller on their senior night a week earlier, REV (7-1 Citrus Belt League) was eager to wash the bitter taste from their mouths and did it at the expense of RHS (3-4 CBL).
Junior Alexis Rodriguez started things off with a hard-fought 8-5 minor decision at 103 pounds to spark a string of seven consecutive victories for the Wildcats
