Local P.E.O. members celebrate Founders' Day

REDLANDS - Barbara Andes of Fullerton, immediate past president of International Chapter of the P.E.O. Sisterhood, made a return visit to Redlands Jan. 23, as keynote speaker for P.E.O.'s Citrus Reciprocity Founders' Day meeting at the Redlands Country Club.

She renewed acquaintances made 25 years ago when she was that year's state officer making a round of official visits to Inland Empire chapters.

"I can't believe I've been involved that long," she said following her drive from her own North Orange County Reciprocity. She had appreciated the return of bright sunlight and the views of the ring of snow-clad mountains as she drove toward Redlands.

She also expressed appreciation to the P.E.O. members who made it to the luncheon from Apple Valley.
