REDLANDS - Ensemble XXI, directed by Jeffrey H. Rickard, will make its second public appearance at 7:30 tonight, presenting a service of choral evensong for for the Sunday after All Saints in the University of Redlands Memorial Chapel.
Ensemble XXI is a choral ensemble composed of 20 voices (five on a part) and a director who specialize in the presentation of choral evensong in the Anglican choral tradition. Newly formed this fall from alumni of the Community Chorus of Redlands, the University of Redlands, and Trinity Episcopal Church Choir, this group will continue to offer choral evensong in Memorial Chapel on a regular basis as well as branch out into the more secular idioms of madrigals and contemporary jazz.
A freewill offering will be received in support of Ensemble XXI.
Seating for this presentation will be on the chapel stage.
