BurritoQuest '08: Los Jarritos

REDLANDS - In my many travels of the far reaches of, well, Redlands and sometimes Mentone in search of the finest burrito someone else's money can buy, I often find that the best burritos can be found in the modest little joints that no one knows about.

In fact, a few weeks ago, as I was on my way to grab a burrito from Alberto's on Orange Street, a colleague pointed out Los Jarritos, which I would have missed otherwise since it seems to be strategically placed in a spot where you, Sherlock Holmes or Dick Tracy would never, find it.

Los Jarritos, which, when translated to English means Jarritos, can be found at 1026 Orange St. in Redlands, but don't blink or you'll miss it.

Now, I don't know if it's presumptuous to say that Los Jarritos is the best-kept burrito-flavored secret in Redlands, but based on all of the patrons that were in the dining room when I visited on Tuesday, I think it's safe to say that it is, at least, a medium-sized secret   Read Full Article...
