Andres Padilla, 92

Andres G. Padilla, a former resident of Redlands, died Nov. 15 in Modesto. He was 92. He was born Dec. 17, 1915, in Albuquerque, N.M., and had lived in Redlands from 1974 until he moved to Modesto in 2003. A veteran of World War II, he worked 40 years for the Santa Fe Railway. His family said he was a hard-working, loving father and grandfather who enjoyed taking strolls at night and eating his hidden chocolates with his grandchildren. Survivors include sons Carlos A. Padilla Sr. of Redlands and Roland M. Padilla of Moreno Valley; daughters Helen Garcia of Modesto and Grace Maher of Fresno; grandchildren Maxie, Johnny, Jimmy, Theresa, Chapo, Carlos Jr., Natasha, Veronica, Jessica, Sabrina, Angelina, Kyle, Jordan, Jarod and Jacob; and 13 great-grandchildren. http://redlandsdailyfacts.com/announcements/ci_11028936   Read Full Article...
