BA With Bryant, Bynum sitting because of injuries, Jackson fiddles with lineup against San Antonio.
The results came back negative in more ways than one.
Kobe Bryant did not play in the Lakers' 101-89 victory Monday night against the San Antonio Spurs, sitting out for the second consecutive game because of a sprained left ankle. He underwent an MRI exam earlier in the day, which revealed nothing more serious than a sprain.
As if that's not serious enough.
Andrew Bynum also did not play against the Spurs, sitting out because of a bruised and swollen right hip suffered after a hard fall to the court during the Lakers' victory Saturday over the Trail Blazers in Portland.
It's uncertain when either player might be sound enough to play again, however.
