Then Kim Kardashian took a construction job. Then Simon Cowell gave someone a hug, just because.
The Bubba Watson we've come to know does not wow us with his deft touch around the greens. The Bubba Watson we know lambastes his Titleists down the fairway as if trying to crack his driver with the ball.
For three straight years he led the PGA in driving distance, averaging more than 315 yards per swing.
Ever heard that expression when someone's talking about a crime? He'll get caught and end up sharing a cell with a guy named Bubba .
Hey, better than sharing a tee box with one. This guy sends playing partners back to prepubescence.
But on the SilverRock course at the Bob Hope Classic on Friday, Watson's length wasn't so much the front man as it was a member of an ensemble cast
