SEC happy to see Kiffin move West - COMMENTARY

The SEC is rid of its biggest headache, and for that, it should be forever thankful to USC.

The league finally has been freed from the embarrassment that former Tennessee head coach Lane Kiffin has been for the past 14 months. What has Kiffin left behind? A legacy of idiocy.

He falsely accused Urban Meyer of cheating. He picked a fight with Steve Spurrier and quickly got told off. He committed at least six secondary NCAA recruiting violations during his Vols tenure, and the program is currently under investigation for its use of recruiting hostesses.

He got two public reprimands during his time in Knoxville, along with a blistering note from SEC commissioner Mike Slive that threatened him with suspension should he step out of line again.
