UC Riverside men take on CS Fullerton - BIG WEST MATCHUP: The Highlanders will be trying to break out of their scoring slump.

UC Riverside takes to the road today to face Cal State Fullerton. The Highlanders are coming off two tough home losses to Pacific and Cal State Northridge and reside in the Big West cellar.

The team still has no answers for its offensive woes after scoring a season-low 47 points and shooting just 30 percent in Thursday's loss to the Matadors.

Cal State Fullerton (11-10, 5-4 Big West) has won three straight games to move into a tie for third in the conference standings. The Titans beat UCR (8-14, 2-8 Big West) 69-56 in the first meeting in Riverside and are 7-1 at home. Tipoff is 6 p.m. at Titan Gym.

The Highlander women's team is headed in the other direction having won six of its past seven games.

Cal State Fullerton may be the surprise team in the Big West. The Titans (10-12, 5-4 Big West) beat UCR 78-60 in the first matchup last month and are a game behind the Highlanders (9-13, 6-3) for third place in the conference standings.
