The University of Redlands men's basketball team extended its Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference winning streak to six games with a 78-61 victory over visiting La Verne on Saturday night.

Pat Coffey scored 13 points and had three steals to lead Redlands (10-8, 6-1 SCIAC), which led 36-29 at halftime.

Matt Dietrich went 5 of 11 from the field to finish with 12 points for the Bulldogs.

La Verne is 6-12, 2-5.
