Coyotes women get a big victory - CS SAN BERNARDINO 76 CS STANISLAUS 70 They beat Stanislaus again and are now 12-8.

SAN BERNARDINO - Entering Friday night's game, the Cal State San Bernardino women's basketball team had lost three of its past four games and was in need of a victory that could get it back on track.

Once again, Cal State Stanislaus helped provide that much-needed win.

Led by Krystal Urzua's 19 points, the Coyotes snapped out of their funk to post a 76-70 victory over Stanislaus in a California Collegiate Athletic Association game at Coussoulis Arena.

The Coyotes (12-8, 7-7) have now won 11 of their past 12 against Stanislaus. Cal State also earned its 12th victory of the season, surpassing last season's total.

"We needed this," Cal State coach Kevin Becker said.

Urzua had an efficient 5-for-7 performance from the field and was 7 of 9 from the line to pace the Coyotes. Amanda Ragains had 16 of her 18 points in the first half and Kymberly Ooten pitched in 12.
