REDLANDS - It can't be helped. It's a question you have to ask twin brothers, just because.
OK, which one of you did Mom like best?
"She'll never say," Ryan Floersch said.
"We'll take the safe bet and go with our younger brother," John Floersch added.
The University of Redlands aquatic stars have certainly heard that one before, along with most of the other quips and one-liners that go with being siblings.
But you don't laugh at their accomplishments.
Ryan Floersch -- the younger twin by a minute -- earned Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference and NCAA Division III national Player of the Year honors in water polo last fall, scoring 63 goals (16th in the nation) and drawing a school-record 125 ejections as a center.
John, a senior central defender, was a second-team All-American and first-team All-SCIAC. And the two further honed their knack for working together.
