Wise Moves - Jurupa Valley grad making mark in NASCAR

Josh Wise was lounging in his Riverside home, soaking in an episode of "That '70s Show" when his phone rang.

The area code was foreign, the voice was vaguely familiar, but the name, well, Wise knew the name.

"Hey Josh. This is Tony Stewart," said the man on the other end.

Ashton Kutcher was on the screen just a few feet from his couch, and considering Wise had never spoken to Stewart before, it seemed quite likely he was getting punk'd.

But this was very much real, and so was the offer that followed.

"How would you like to come race for me?" asked Stewart, who owns a USAC sprint car, midget and Silver Crown team.

Surprise, surprise -- Wise accepted. And at the age of 20, he was off to Indianapolis.
