The Stater Bros. Racefest is returning to Auto Club Speedway and will kick off race week on Thursday.
The event will be held in the Opportunity, California FanZone outside the main grandstands at the speedway from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. and is free.
According to a release issued by NASCAR, the event will include a freestyle Moto-X stunt show by Metal Mulisha, rides, games, live music, an on-site silent auction and a Sprint Cup Series hauler parade, as well as the souvenir rigs. More than a dozen drivers, including seven-time Cup champion Richard Petty, are scheduled to sign autographs at sponsor tents.
Earlier Thursday, Cup driver Tony Stewart is scheduled to appear at The Home Depot Store in Rancho Cucamonga, at the corner of Foothill and Rochester, from 5-7 p.m.
The rest of the weekend includes Cup qualifying Friday afternoon starting at 3:30 p.m., the Nationwide Series race Saturday at 7 p.m. and the Pepsi 500 Sprint Cup Series race Sunday at 5 p.m
