Lakers: Time to fret about Bobcats -

EL SEGUNDO - Time to move on, all-star Pau Gasol said Tuesday.

A day after Kobe Bryant scored 44 points to become the Laker franchise's all-time leading scorer in a disappointing 95-93 loss at Memphis, Gasol said it was good to get Bryant's record chase behind them.

The Lakers finished the trip 5-3, and tonight at Staples Center they face the pesky Charlotte Bobcats (24-23), who beat the Lakers in both meetings last season.

"Everybody was aware of" Bryant's chase of Jerry West's franchise record, Gasol said after Bryant's 28-shot effort (out of a team total of 73) overshadowed the combined 10 attempts that he and Andrew Bynum managed against Memphis.

"We have to be more demanding, more aggressive," Gasol said, to the agreement of guard Derek Fisher.
