Angels reliever Jose Arredondo will have Tommy John surgery on his right elbow in January and will miss the entire 2010 season, the club confirmed to MLB.com's Rhett Bollinger. Arredondo, a 25-year-old right-hander, went 2-3 with a 6.00 ERA in 43 games for the Angels in 2009. He had 47 strikeouts with 25 walks in 45 innings. Arredondo showed much promise as a rookie, posting a 10-2 record and a 1.62 ERA. He had 55 strikeouts in 52 games that 2008 season, spanning 61 innings. Arredondo also was non-tendered by the Angels, as were INF Matthew Brown and RHP Dustin Moseley, making them free agents. http://pe.com/sports/baseball/angels/stories/PE_Sports_Local_S_web_only_angels_13.3c5d2fe.html   Read Full Article...
