Film festival to honor resident, activist
Big Bear resident and activist Richard Kun will be honored at the Big Bear Lake International Film Festival in September in Big Bear Lake.
Kun will receive the festival's Community Appreciation Award.
Festival officials said that Kun, owner of Snow Summit and Bear Mountain, will be honored for his many contributions to the community of Big Bear Lake.
An awards ceremony recognizing Kun is planned for Sept. 12 at the Big Bear Lake Performing Arts Center.
The Big Bear Lake Film Festival is set for Sept. 11 to 14.
