colton Inspector arrested on suspicion of extortion A utility inspector for the city of Colton has been arrested on suspicion of extortion and is accused of using his official position to coerce people into using his private electrical business. Gilbert Aceves, 53, was arrested Thursday at his residence, which also is his place of business. Bail was set at $35,000. He is scheduled for arraignment in San Bernardino County Superior Court on Sept. 23.
