Today's Democratic National Convention events include a prime-time speech by Joe Biden, Barack Obama's pick for vice president, and a speech by former President Bill Clinton.

The major networks are carrying the prime-time speeches, and several cable networks are offering extended coverage both on TV and online. Although precise times for the speeches are not available, here's a look at the scheduled speakers, as provided by convention officials. Today's session runs roughly from 2 to 8 p.m. PDT:
