Inland groups to hold convention-watching parties -

Inland residents who didn't make the trek to Denver for the Democratic National Convention still can be a part of the action this week.

The Democratic Club of Moreno Valley is hosting convention-watching parties every night through Thursday at its headquarters.

Guests can show up at 2 p.m. and the office will stay open until the last person leaves. The office is at 24443 Sunnymead Blvd., Moreno Valley, on the southwest corner of the Sundance Center.

Visitors are encouraged to come dressed comfortably -- pajamas even -- and bring snacks or sign up for a potluck.

Several Democratic groups in San Bernardino County plan to gather Thursday night to celebrate Barack Obama's nomination acceptance speech.
