So there is this really tall cat in Norco -

Scarlett's Magic, a Savannah breed cat that holds the Guinness Book of World Records as the world's tallest domestic cat, made a visit to the Norco Library on Thursday and was a hit with about 20 people who traveled to see her and her owner, Lee Draper.

The breed is a cross between an African Serval and domesticated cats such as the Egyptian Mau and Bengal.

Savannah at 18 inches shoulder to toe and 19 months old is larger than when she captured the Guinness title at 17.1 inches. He said she will continue to grow until she is about four years old. Draper said that they have started paperwork to nominate Scarlett for the world's longest domestic cat, too.

Scarlett walked around the room, displaying her spotted reddish color, large eyes, "eyes" on the back of her ears, "necklace" and long legs.

Pam Taylor of Norco said she'd seen Scarlett at the Draper store and called her "magnificent."
