NORCO - Rodeo competitor Jason Martin and his wife, Melissa, are truly a team at the arena, in business and at home.
Jason, 37, rides bucking horses bareback on the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association tour.
He will compete at the 24th annual Norco Mounted Posse PRCA Rodeo, which runs Friday through Sunday at the George Ingalls Equestrian Events Center in Norco.
Martin, who has earned more than $25,000 in his rodeo career, is one of about 300 performers scheduled to take part.
Melissa Martin, 37, will be in the stands videotaping his ride.
She is like a coach, reviewing the tape with Jason and critiquing his effort.
The couple works together in their Norco-based Wisefly Auto Glass business.
At their home in Norco, Melissa prepares food to keep her husband trim and fit for the rodeo. She also nurtures him back from his frequent injuries.
