Lake Arrowhead, nestled 5,000 feet above sea level in the San Bernardino Mountains, makes for a great place to escape for the day. It is home to 780 acres of clear, blue water among an enormous forest of pine trees.
Lake Arrowhead Village is the perfect place to start your visit to the small mountain community. The Village has a variety of specialty shops and restaurants that run along the south side of the lake. Many of the restaurants have amazing views that are perfect for watching the sunset. Food choices range from a basic hamburger to an extravagant lobster plate.
The Village also presents Southern California's largest free concert series during the summer months. The concerts begin at 5:30 p.m. Check the Lake Arrowhead Village Web site for a list of bands and dates.
