A Riverside couple credited with raising millions of dollars and a volunteer from Redlands are slated to be recognized later this month by the Loma Linda University Children's Hospital Foundation.

Steve and Cathy Kienle, of Walter's Automotive Group, Riverside, will be honored with the foundation's 2009 Shirley N. Pettis Award; Robert "Bob" Erikson, of Redlands, will be recognized with the foundation's 2009 Hometown Hero Award.
