The Walk for Kids Walk-a-thon is designed to challenge children and to build confidence. The unlimited miles fundraiser is being held from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at César Chávez Elementary School, 1150 Paseo Grande, Corona. The run features entertainment, games, special guests and a booth by Operation Sweet Dreams, which distributes free pajamas, toothbrushes and books to children. Proceeds benefit the 100 Mile Club to build confidence in children and encourage them to become physically active by running 100 miles during a school year. The event is their first step toward that goal. Proceeds also benefit participating schools and the Student Sponsorship Fund. --Leslie Parrilla lparrilla@PE.com http://pe.com/localnews/corona/stories/PE_News_Local_W_wb10_walk.373f88d.html   Read Full Article...
