A fourth woman has been arrested and charged with helping slash and disfigure a 20-year-old Banning woman during an attack last month.
Ariana Priscilla Jean Atkins, 18, of Banning, turned herself into police Monday after spending about a month as a fugitive, Banning police Sgt. Greg Herrington said.
Atkins and three other women -- Azia Aldred, Erica Bastidas and Labrea Steward -- are charged with aggravated mayhem and assault with a deadly weapon, charges which could carry a life sentence if they are convicted.
Police said the four women helped attack Shanice Wilson, a former Banning Peach Queen, outside her home July 11.
The women targeted Wilson after witnesses said Bastidas' husband made a sexually suggestive comment to Wilson, according to a sworn affidavit in support of an arrest warrant
During a confrontation with the four women, Wilson said she was dragged into the street and knocked unconscious and sliced with razor blades across her face and back
