West Covina Girls Softball's age 8 and under team won the Northern "B" District Championship. With the victory, West Covina qualified for the State Championship Tournament in San Bernardino.
This is the first time in the 50-year history of West Covina Girls Softball that an 8U team won the district championship and qualified for the State Championship Tournament.
