Pico Rivera Mary Loehr Girls Softball's age 8 and under Pico Stars team recently captured first place at the Amateur Softball Association (ASA) State Games in Lancaster. The Pico Stars went undefeated at the state tournament. To qualify for the state tournament, the Pico Stars won the ASA Northern District Championship tournament.
