CSUN on Bruins' basketball schedule

UCLA's march toward a fourth successive Final Four appearance will begin Nov. 12 at Pauley Pavilion, although the opponent remains unnamed, according to the partially-completely schedule released Friday by the school.

The Bruins open the season in the Coaches vs. Cancer 2008 2K Sports Classic and will host two rounds. However, the organizers of the event have not announced the rest of the field. The winners of each of the four brackets will advance to Madison Square Garden in New York (Nov. 20-21).

Also, UCLA will play DePaul in the Wooden Classic on Dec.13 in Anaheim. As previously reported, UCLA will travel to Texas (Dec. 4) and host Notre Dame (Feb. 7)

Other non-conference games, all at home, include Florida International (Nov.29), Cal State Northridge (Dec. 7), Mercer (Dec.20), Wyoming (Dec. 23) and Louisiana Tech (Dec. 28). UCLA is still trying to schedule a home game for Dec. 17.
