The Covina All-Stars' postseason run ended Aug. 12 when they lost 6-4 to Gurabo, Puerto Rico in the Colt World Series semifinals at Lafayette, Ind.
Covina qualified for the semifinals by finishing with a first-place 4-0 record in the White Division. The top two teams in the White Division and the Red Division advanced to the semifinals.
Covina's victories came against Grand Ledge, Mich., Greensboro, N.C., Mt. Pleasant, Mich., and Hoosier North.
