WEST COVINA - An elderly man who wandered off from his home on Wednesday has been located and appears to be ok, officials said.
Robert Elmer Smith, 81, of West Covina was reported missing at 2:26 p.m. by his wife, according to Rudy Lopez of the West Covina Police Department.
Prior to that Smith was spotted by numerous motorist walking along the 10 Freeway with his walker, officials said.
Smith had recently suffered a stroke and needs constant medical attention, Lopez said.
It is unknown where he was found but he is expected to be ok, officials said.
