Alas, Lions bound for letdown

Just like the New England Patriots, we rebounded last week. Thank you, Greg Lewis, wish you were here.

Now the question is, can we keep it going? Can we prepare better, practice better, coach better?

The bye weeks begin now so that cuts down the field of games a little. Some dud games are bound to get into the Lucky Sevens as we progress.

Only partial joy in MoTown. While the Tigers celebrate a trip to the playoffs, the Lions bandwagon comes to a screeching halt. What the heck, you can't play the Redskins every week, right? Jay Cutler is just getting started in Chicago.

VIKINGS 27, PACKERS 24

ESPN is overjoyed with this one. So are Vikings fans. Brett the Former Jet strikes again, even though Aaron Rodgers is equal to the task. Reason? The Vikes have Adrian Peterson and the Packers don't.
