Merrimack Legacy girls win MLK Tournament
The Merrimack Legacy fourth grade girls basketball team won all five of their games in the Hudson MLK Basketball Tournament. The girls were able to hold off a tough Londonderry team in the championship game. Team members are Sara Wozniak, Sabrina Johnson, Alex Dubois, Jenna Chambers, Olivia Kapsambelis, Molly Baulier, Mackenzie Francoeur, Courtney Schaub, Melanie Hopkins, Nicole Haney, coach Bob Johnson and assistant coach John Francoeur.
'Hawks fourth graders lose third straight contest
The fourth grade Nashua Nighthawks continue to play well despite dropping their third straight decision.
Nashua dropped a tough one to an unbeaten Bedford team. Leading the Nighthawks with their best team effort on the season was Scyler Boykins, Garrett Bieren, Mike Meads and Anthony Costa. John Champa led the way offensively with 12 points. Clay Medling chipped in with five points in a strong effort for Nashua's big man
