Hollis PeeWee I goes 2-1 over last weekend
Hollis defeated the Manchester Flames (4-1) and East Eagles (3-0) before falling to Concord-Carlisle (Mass., 1-0) last weekend.
Goal scorers against Manchester were Evan Wendt, Darren Costa, Brett Pitre and Daniel Ash. Assisting on goals were Jack Sheilds, Tom Johnson, Aidan Conlon, Ash and Jeremiah Latham (two). Mitchell Young stood tall defensively in front of goalie Curtis Richall.
In the win over NH East Eagle, Robert LaVine, Pitre and Ash all scored with help from Latham (two), Cameron Richall (two), Costa and LaVine. Strong defense was played by Young, Johnson and Wendt. Andrew Marquis was hustling all over the ice, while Curtis Richall had another strong game in net.
Nashua Bantam II wins a pair
The Nashua Panthers Bantam II youth hockey team won a pair of Valley League games this past weekend, defeating Malden (Mass.) 3-1 and Danvers (Mass.) 5-2
