Bishop Guertin High School had an impressive showing at Monday's Division I State Meet, as the Cardinals finished third out of 17 teams at Mount Sunapee in Newbury.
Keene won the title with a team score of 749.5 with Exeter (743) and the Cardinals (712) finishing just behind. The rest of the field finished as follows: Manchester Central (668.5), Timberlane Regional (627), Pinkerton Academy (579), Nashua South (576), Goffstown (510), Concord (504), Nashua North (498), Spaulding (494), Londonderry (464), Merrimack (441), Dover (420), Pembroke (220), Manchester West (154) and Manchester Memorial (99).
Junior Ashley Loughran was strong for the Cardinals, finishing first overall in the Giant Slalom (GS) with a two-run combined time of 1 minute, 6 seconds, and she was fourth overall in the Slalom with a combined time of 1:12.95. Brianna Berge finished right behind Loughran in both events, with a combined time in the GS of 1:06.67 and a combined time of 1:15.37 in the Slalom
