Trinity 42, Nashua North 36
NASHUA - The Nashua North girls basketball fought back from an ice cold start but couldn't climb all of the way out of a deep hole as Trinity of Manchester held on for a 42-36 win Sunday.
Trinity raced to a 16-3 lead in the first eight minutes before the Titans, now 8-4, recovered and began chipping away. But the Pioneers recovered in the final quarter to put the game away,.
Lauren Wingate scored 11 points to lead North, which hosts Pinkerton on Tuesday night.
