HANOVER - Sunday's Class L Indoor Track Championships at Dartmouth College was a decidedly green event. But it had nothing to do with the environment or the colors and nickname of the host school, Dartmouth College.
No, turning everything green at Leverone Field House on Sunday afternoon were the boys and girls track teams from Bishop Guertin.
Yes, we did say boys track team. It's only news in New Hampshire track when the Bishop Guertin girls lose, and they ran away with their eighth straight indoor crown on Sunday, officially clinching in the second to last event.
The boys, however, had never won an indoor title and the meet would go down to the final 50 yards of the final race. Of course, the school has never had a collection of distance runners like seniors Frances Hernandez and Joey Jourdain, and junior sidekick Jeff LaCoste
