1. I just clicked subscribe, how do I get the Podcasts on my iPod?
Once you subscribe to a Podcast feed, all the articles of that section of the newspaper get automatically delivered to your computer. All you need to do is plug in your iPod to your computer and they will get copied onto it.

2. Where are the Podcasts on my PC?
On iTunes, click on "Podcasts" and you will be able to see all the Podcast feeds that you subscribe to. Click on the small triangle to the left of the name and you will see all the episodes/articles (Apple Computer calls them episodes, we call them articles).

3. How do I find the Podcasts on my iPod?
There are 2 ways to do it:

#1 On the root menu of the iPod, select "Music". On the "Music" menu select "Podcast" and you will see a list of all your Podcasts there. Keep in mind, however, that there is a limitation here. It has to do with the way that Apple Computer designed the iPod. When you play a Podcast episode/article, the iPod thinks you want to play that article and that article only. Unfortunately, it does not automatically play the next article.

#2 Starting from the root menu, select, Music> Genre> Podcast> All. This will show you a list of all your Podcasts. Select the Podcast you want to listen to. When you choose an article here, the iPod will automatically play the next story and so on.

Why two options and which on is better? Going to the Podcast menu first (see item #1 above) is faster because there are fewer steps, but it has the shortcoming that it does not play the next article automatically. To hear all the articles in a section, you need to manually forward to the next one. The main advantage of following #2 (Root menu> Music> Genre> Podcast> All) is that the stories will play one after the other.

4. I am not getting new stories for a Podcast feed, what's wrong?
Sometimes iTunes gets stuck and stops checking for new articles. You can tell this has happened because there is an exclamation point "!" next to the Podcast feed’s name. When this happens, right click on the Podcast feed and select "Update Podcast". This will make iTunes check for new articles for that Podcast feed.

5. How do I make sure I got all the latest articles?
See the instructions in question #4 above. You can tell iTunes to manually update a Podcast feed by right clicking on its name and selecting "Update Podcast" or update all of them by clicking the "Refresh" button on the bottom right.

Note that if a particular feed is "stuck" clicking Refresh may not get you the new articles. Item #4 above explains how to resolve this.
