For the first time, UCLA and USC meet in the Pacific-10 Conference Tournament today at Staples Center. The winner will advance to Saturday's final, which will determine the Pac-10's automatic qualifier for the NCAA Tournament.
No. 3 UCLA (29-3), which won the Pac-10 regular season title, reached the semifinal with an 88-66 win over California on Thursday.
USC (21-10), which tied for third in the Pac-10, advanced with a 59-55 win over Arizona State. The winner will face either Washington State or Stanford in the final.
