By now, they've all heard the stat more times than they can count.
No graduating class of UCLA softball players has ever not won a national title in their four years at the school.
A couple of years ago, the senior class - led by future Team USA stars Natasha Watley and Taria Mims - came close, but ended up staging a dramatic comeback through the loser's bracket at the Women's College World Series to win the national title in 2003.
The Bruins then repeated in 2004 - and that's the last national title UCLA has won, so the math isn't that hard.
But it's an issue pitcher Anjelica Selden and her fellow seniors prefer not to focus on as they prepare to host Cal State Fullerton today in the first round of the NCAA regionals.
"What happens if we don't win? I don't think about things like that," said Selden, who owns just about every pitching record in UCLA's storied history and is closing in on 1,400strikeouts in her career
