Here are three things Rick Neuheisel will NOT do as UCLA's new head football coach:
He will not take the team river-rafting in the offseason, pull out a guitar on a starlit night and ask them to join him in a rousing rendition of "Kumbaya."
He will not drive up to the homes of potential recruits during a no-contact period, park his car and flash his headlights so the prospect knows coach is thinking about him.
And he will offer an opinion on "March Madness" beyond wanting Ben Howland and UCLA to win.
There. Can we all move on now?
Because here are three things he WILL do now that he's returned to his alma mater as coach:
He will recreate the program's identity, the one that got lost a decade or so ago.
He will bring spirit back to the entire football program and its fan base through the simple equation of new hope, hard effort and honest ambition.
And he will win
