CANYON COUNTRY - Sheriff's deputies are searching for a man who allegedly attempted to kidnap his ex-girlfriend in Canyon Country, Santa Clarita sheriff's Sgt. Brian Allen said.
The sheriff's Department received a call at 3:05 p.m. Sunday to report they heard people fighting behind a 7-Eleven convenience store, Allen said.
"It sounds like the suspect, an ex-boyfriend, attempted to take his girlfriend at a location in Canyon Country," Allen said. "When deputies arrived, the suspect had already fled on foot."
