Thanksgiving is still 45 days off, but I don't think we can wait until Nov. 27.
Not with this turkey of a stock market massacring savings and 401(k) accounts, and an economy shedding jobs like a cheap suit.
We need some thanks right now for all the things money can't buy.
So take a timeout, turn off CNN, slip in a Sinatra CD, grab a beverage of your choice and celebrate an early Thanksgiving of some of the things you wouldn't change in your life, even for a Dow at 14,000 points again.
I'm talking about our kids and grandkids, parents and grandparents, health, faith, a beautiful sunset that doesn't cost a dime and a full life that doesn't depend on the size of your savings account.
They're still out there, and no stock market slide is going to change that.
