ANAHEIM - Todd Bertuzzi has been on the ice the past two times the Ducks were shut out at home in the playoffs.
The first was May 15, 2007, a game even more lopsided than the Ducks' 4-0 loss Thursday to the Dallas Stars, and Bertuzzi scored in that game - as a member of the Detroit Red Wings.
The Ducks, of course, rebounded from their 5-0 loss in Game 3 of last year's Western Conference finals to win the final three, including Game5 in Detroit.
"It's pretty simple when it comes to the playoffs," Bertuzzi said Friday. "You can't dwell on things that happened. That's the beauty of it. You have games usually back to back or every second day, you can get to work right away."
So after a video review of the carnage, the Ducks went back to practice Friday, trying their best to forget about an ugly 2008 playoff debut. With a wealth of collective playoff experience, the veteran-laden team had plenty of inspiration to draw from
