MLS: Coach Preki has criticized midfielder for his hustle away from ball.
Sacha Kljestan leads Chivas USA in scoring with three goals and two assists, with two of his goals being nominated for MLS Goal of the Week honors.
That's just fine, but if he wants to absorb less criticism from his coach, he'd better not be showing off his home-run trot between touches.
It's Kljestan's play away from offense that Chivas coach Preki has his eye trained on.
"In the last game he was better," Preki said. "He still has a ways to go but I've seen signs of him that are telling me he can do it if he wants to. It's got to be his thing."
Kljestan's play in Chivas' 0-0 road draw with Houston last week helped his team restore order after a dreadful 5-2 loss to the Galaxy. It also serves to show Kljestan that his game must become more balanced in order to better serve Chivas
