I'LL be damned! Parents think their kids are swearing more.
Kids dropping more F-bombs? There's no proof, no data, so are parents working on a hunch or remember things the way they weren't?
As a writer, no one appreciates words and proper use of English more than I.
But kids' cursing more, I doubt it. There's nothing wrong with striving for language civility, but let's not get our morally high-bound panties up in a bunch about it.
Parents' taking their kids for psychological help to curb the curse of cursing have had their parenting skills hexed, have too much disposable cash or too much time to waste.
There are so many more important things for them to wring their hands over than a few "naughty" words, such as their schools being safe places for their kids to spend a good portion of their day.
My head would be wrapped around my kids getting a solid foundation in English and math skills, history, civics and geography
