It seems the political flu that infested the county oh so many years ago is more prevalent than the H1N1 variety and surely appears to be much harder to control.
The latest story on the epidemic ("5 I.E. lawmakers under investigation for gifts," Jan. 25) fittingly appeared on Page 6. Since it is old news it surely doesn't need first-page attention. Five Inland Empire lawmakers under investigation! Isn't it wonderful having lawmakers all of the same variety?
What is it with these clowns? Do they think we all figure they work for minimum wage?
At $100 to $200 grand, can't these cheapskates leave home every day with enough money to pay for lunch? The old real estate agent, now senator, now minority senate boss, and great statesman Bob Dutton, along with the rest of the cronies are obviously never very quick on the draw with their wallets
